Research Groups

The Department has several research groups responsible for research in different fields of application of statistics.

These groups are:

	COSDA-UPC - COmpositional and Spatial Data Analysis
	GNOM - Group of Numerical Optimization and Modelling
	GRBIO - Research Group in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics
	KEMLG - Knowledge Engineering and Machine Learning Group
	IMP - Information Modeling and Processing
	L´AIRE - Laboratory of Aeronautical and Industrial Research and Studies

Members of the department also participates in the following research networks:

	BIOSTATNET - National Biostatistics Network
	GRASS Research Group in Survival Analysis
